After a week of anticipation, I went to my appointment with my surgeon to discuss my surgery for reversing my colostomy bag. The surgery has been scheduled for Monday, Nov 17 at 9 am. I call Friday to confirm that it is still on. I have to go through a process Sunday to clean my system out. That isn't going to be much fun, but has to be done. My wonderful husband will help me through the process and be there for the surgery. Then he will go back to work so they won't dock him a days pay. Anyone that follows my blog, please keep me in your prayers.

Beautiful Fall Colors
We recently went to Maine to visit family and see our newest granddaughter. She is 5 months old and so adorable. It was a long ride there and we took our time. From North Carolina to Maine it was a show of beautiful changing colors. These photos were taken going down the highway at 55 - 70 mph. This is just a sample of the photos taken on our trip.
