August 26 Adult Bib designed and made by meGot into another of those creating moods. Designed and made an Adult Bib for those less fortunate in eating, clothing getting fed before the mouth. A dear lady asked about one, but it took me awhile to decide to do it. She gave me some measurements and a photo to give me an idea how to go about it. This is my result. I think it came out nicely. August 22 NC TarHeel Messanger bag and new toteI have been creative this week. Made a tote and a NC TarHeel messenger bag which turned out awesome! Cotton 9 inches tall, 12 inch wide, 21 inch handle drop. Inside has 8 card slots with protector straps and three pockets on opposite side, middle has Velcro closure. Outside has Velcro pocket with appliqué on it and back side has pocket with appliqué on it. $75.00 The tote is cotton Decor fabric outside with quilted inside and 3 pockets. 12 inch high, 10 inch wide, 6 inch handle drop. $25.00 August 16 Pillowcases lots of Pillowcases FOR SALEI have been in the creating mood lately. In the past two weeks I have designed and made lots of pillowcases or pillow slips! Some have Princesses, Crowns, Cinderella and Motorcycles. The Motorcycle ones are travel or toddler size 14 inch wide 22 inch long for $10.00 each. The others are approximate 19 inch wide by 29 inch long standard to queen size for $12.00 each. Motorcycle travel or toddler there are three of theseAugust 12 Boat Ride and FishingWe woke to a beautiful day. Sunny, warm but not too hot yet. My husband had decided we would go for a boat ride and fishing. We went on the river as it is very hard to get into the Inter Coastal unless you get up before the crack of dawn, which I can't do. Anyways, it was a beautiful day to be out in the boat. My husband designed and built it from scratch a few years ago. It is a small one just under 16 feet. We were trolling when he thought there was a tug on his line, so he started reeling it in slowly. Thought it might have been a false catch, but started tugging again, so began reeling in again. I won't keep you in suspense long. He caught a small about 12-16 inch SHARK! What a surprise. We tried our best to get the hook from its mouth, but it wouldn't release. So, I said why don't you just cut the hook off? Sure enough that is what he did while I held the shark by the middle and tail. My husband said the hook would come out on its own eventually. It had very pretty coloring with outline of black on its fin and tail end. Just had to tell this before forgetting about it, with this short turn memory at times :) August 07 Thank God for my Dear Husband!I don't talk much about what goes on in my life, but Saturday something happened to show me that God is always watching over me each moment of my life. We were having lunch and one of our feral cats was having a hard time eating, choking on its food each time it ate. While we were eating I took a mouthful to eat and before I had a chance to start chewing(I take forever to eat with my chewing) a chunk of food lodged in my throat somehow. I couldn't breath and my husband asked me if I was alright(which I wasn't) when he realized I was having a problem he got up and did the Hemilic(spelling) and out popped a chunk of cucumber. I keep thanking God that he was here with me as I eat salad almost daily. I believe it was to show my husband how much I really love and trust him and show Gods miracles. He is able to think quickly under pressure and respond. I told hubby he was stuck with me for awhile longer :) Thank God for little miracles and his wonderous blessings.
